Book The Lighthouse, a guide to parenting teens.

My book is organized in 8 different chapters, presented as easy to read, showing the important key steps for parents to implement at home, with their child.

Throughout the book, more than 100 scientific researches are mentioned.

Topics such as managing bullying, peer drama, trust issues, and ways parents can help teens manage their anxiety and depression at home are discussed.

Through this book, my goal is to help parents gain a clear understanding of the prevalent triggers for anxiety and depression in today's teens and equip them with strategies to effectively manage these triggers.

My objective is to explain what tools a parent can put in place to cultivate a peaceful relationship, in order to ensure a content future in adulthood for their teenager. In addition to this, I explain how parents can take care of themselves and why self-healing is crucial.

Lastly, I want to emphasize that a dedicated chapter in this book dives into the significance of nurturing both the physical body and the brain to address anxiety and depression. This includes exploring the impact of the gut microbiome, the nervous system, sleep, and body detoxification on mental health. I provide scientific evidence and clear explanations on how a family can take care of their brains, in order to achieve a healthy mental health. Being in the mental health industry for the last 10 years, this approach is new and just starting to bloom. I am convinced this approach is the future of healthcare.

This book does not only provide information on parenting. It is also a toolbox, filled with tips from a Psychotherapist and new scientific evidence, to guide parents needing help.

Here are some questions answered in the book.

Extracts from the book.

Chapter 1

"During the young age of a child (0 to 11 years old), parents will be the main rock and influence for a child's development. While entering preteen years, your child will need other adults in their life, to fulfill other important figures, that you cannot take alone, as a parent.

Here is a summary of the other adults a child should have during their preteen and teen years, to avoid attaching solely to peers and to foster healthy development."
